Buspar.
BuSpar (buspirone) is an efficient anti-anxiety drug prescribed for patients that need to get their symptoms of anxiety under control. You health care provider will need to know if you have kidney, liver disease or a history of alcohol or drug abuse, as those factors may affect the dose you are prescribed. Tell your doctor about any medications you are using – especially erythromycin, antihistamines, pain medications, itraconazole, dexamethasone, MAO inhibitors, anticonvulsants, sleeping pills, tranquilizers, haloperidol, sedatives, diazepam, and ketoconazole, as interactions have been reported. Both mild and more serious side effects are possible when BuSpar is taken – and you will need to make sure the serious ones are reported right away. The following are mild side effects of BuSpar that do not need to be reported: nervousness, constipation, vomiting, depression, lightheadedness, dry mouth, weakness, headache, excitement, difficulty sleeping, diarrhea, drowsiness, fatigue, upset stomach, and stomach pain. If you took too much of BuSpar and experience blurred vision, skin rash, itching, fast or irregular heartbeat, seek emergency medical help.
